Abby Lee Miller
Abby Lee Miller, who runs a Pittsburgh dance studio, is known for her tirades and tough training as star of Lifetime TV's reality show Dance Moms and she is also a choreographer. Born in Pennsylvania in 1966, Abby Lee Miller inherited a love of dance from her mom; she took classes at her mother's studio since childhood. Miller started her own company at 14 and by 1980 had her own studio. But with Lifetime's show Dance Moms she became a star in her own right rather than just training aspiring ones. The series, which has now had five seasons, follows Miller, several of her students and their diva parents.
This is one of Abby Millers work and this is really good and will help me in my music video because even though the dancers and doing really good tricks the storyline is similar to mine so I could show my actress what face they are going and then she can do them in my music video.
Alvin Ailey
Born in Texas in 1931, Alvin Ailey was a choreographer who founded the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater in 1958. It was a hugely popular, multi-racial modern dance ensemble that popularized modern dance around the world thanks to extensive world tours. His most famous dance is Revelations, a celebratory study of religious spirit. Ailey received the Kennedy Center Honors in 1988. A year later, on December 1, 1989, Ailey died of AIDS in New York City.
This can help me with my Final Major Project because I can get some ideas from his choreograph and make them similar but different so this will make my music video look better.
