Checklist for research
Research different types of animators for music videos
Adrian Dutt
Is a Bristol based illustrator with a first class honors degree in illustration and graphic design. His work is traditionally hand drawn illustration / typography with the addition of digital rendering where needed. A vivid and colourful imagination helps brings his work to life, with a signature style represented by intricate ink illustrations.
https://youtu.be/UwdAOoQzOl0
This is his work Spectres - Sooky Eyeball this will help me in my FMP because I am doing my How will I know music video as an animation and this will show my how it will look like and how is can fit in together.
Hattie Stewart
https://vimeo.com/89616259
This is Hatties work i could not find much about her life because she is not on Wikipedia or no information website but I like her animations because they have real life people and pictures.

Research different types of actors/actress
Ciara Bravo

There she was discovered by talent managers, Frederick Levy and Bryan Leder of "Management 101." She has had early success with voice over work and local commercials. This can help me in my FMP because I can looked at the way she acts to different roles and show Amelia which will be playing my actress how she does this and she can learn how to act from her.
Noah Munck
Noah was born May 3, 1996 and is an American actor and trap/electronica producer. Noah Munck produces trap music under the name NoxiK.His roles have included Gibby in iCarly and Bobby Sinclair, the junior lawn-mowing entrepreneur in the TruGreen commercials. Also cast in a proposed new Nickelodeon show, Gibby. The pilot was ordered, but the series was not picked up.
Research different types of Pop bands and artists
The Black Eye Peas
The Black Eye Peas is an American hip hop, R'n'B and Pop group which consisting of rappers Will.i.am , apl.de.ap, Taboo and singer Fergie. The group was founded in Los Angeles in 1995 but it was not till they released their third album Elephunk that they become famous and since then the group have sold about 76 million records 35 million albums and 41 singles which make them one of the best selling groups of all time. The first major hit for the group was 'Where is the Love' which is the song I will be doing my music cover video on and this hit topped the charts in 13 countries including the UK.
This research will help me in my Final Major Project because I am doing on of the songs from Black Eye Peas so I will know more about the background of this group and it will help me because knowing the song I am doing the music cover video on is very popular and that means mine might be very popular.
Whitney Houston
Whitney Elizabeth Houston was born on August 9, 1963 and died February 11, 2012 and was an American singer actress, producer and model. Whitney is one of the most pop music best selling music artist of all time with an estimated 170-200 million records sold worldwide. She has released six studio albums, one holiday album and three movie soundtrack albums, all of which have diamond, multi-platinum, platinum or gold certification. Whitney's crossover appeal on the popular music charts, as well as her prominence on MTV, starting with her video for "How Will I Know" influenced several African American women artists who follow in her footsteps.
This research will help me with my FMP because I am doing one of Whitney Houston for my music video which will be an animations, so it will help with some background reasearch about the artist.
Research different types of Choreographers
Abby Lee Miller
Abby Lee Miller, who runs a Pittsburgh dance studio, is known for her tirades and tough training as star of Lifetime TV's reality show Dance Moms and she is also a choreographer. Born in Pennsylvania in 1966, Abby Lee Miller inherited a love of dance from her mom; she took classes at her mother's studio since childhood. Miller started her own company at 14 and by 1980 had her own studio. But with Lifetime's show Dance Moms she became a star in her own right rather than just training aspiring ones. The series, which has now had five seasons, follows Miller, several of her students and their diva parents.
This is one of Abby Millers work and this is really good and will help me in my music video because even though the dancers and doing really good tricks the storyline is similar to mine so I could show my actress what face they are going and then she can do them in my music video.
Alvin Ailey
Born in Texas in 1931, Alvin Ailey was a choreographer who founded the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater in 1958. It was a hugely popular, multi-racial modern dance ensemble that popularized modern dance around the world thanks to extensive world tours. His most famous dance is Revelations, a celebratory study of religious spirit. Ailey received the Kennedy Center Honors in 1988. A year later, on December 1, 1989, Ailey died of AIDS in New York City.
This can help me with my Final Major Project because I can get some ideas from his choreograph and make them similar but different so this will make my music video look better.
Research Music Video Directors
Chris Cunningham
Chris Cunningham is a British video artist. He was born in Reading, Berkshire in 1970 and grew up in Lakenheath, Suffolk.
Cunningham has primarily directed music videos for ambient music and electronica acts such as Autechre and Aphex Twin. He has also created art installations and directed short movies. He was approached to direct a movie version of the cyberpunk novel Neuromancer, but nothing came of early discussions. In the 2000s, Cunningham began doing music production work. He has also designed album artwork for a variety of musicians.
This video is very dark and gloomy which is good because that is what I want my music video to be like and I don't want it to be the same type music but my will be more up beat at the end.
Spike Lee
Shelton Jackson "Spike" Lee (born March 20, 1957) is an American film director, producer, writer, and actor. His production company, 40 Acres and a Mule Filmworks, has produced over 35 films since 1983.
Lee's movies have examined race relations, colorism in the black community, the role of media in contemporary life, urban crime and poverty, and other political issues. Lee has received two Academy Award nominations and won numerous other awards, including an Emmy Award as well as the 2013 Gish Prize "for his brilliance and unwavering courage in using film to challenge conventional thinking.
This is a really good produced music video because it is filmed from the actors/actress point of view which makes it different because not many music videos are filmed like this and shows more detailed about how the actor/actress is feeling and what they are going through and makes the audience feel how they are feeling.
